Is it literally some chemistry we’re in or motion with its partial randomness?
Originally a late section of McElroy’s 1987 novel Women and Men but withdrawn just before publication, and first published in Formations in 1984, Preparations for Search is presented now, in slightly revised form, as a chapbook.
